California Older Adults Assessment & Treatment Services
The COATS (California Older Adults Assessment and Treatment Services) program
at the Kurt and Barbara Gronowski Clinic in Los Altos focuses on the challenges
of aging. This new program is offered at low-cost (sliding scale).
Services include:
- Cognitive (Memory) Screening
- Comprehensive Cognitive Assessment
- Cognitive-Behavioral Individual Psychotherapy for problems of later life
(e.g., depression & anxiety)
- Community-Based Psychoeducational Classes/Workshops
(e.g., “Coping with Caregiving” and “Memory Training”)
Services are provided by advanced graduate students under the supervision of
Larry W. Thompson, Ph.D., COATS Director.
