SGIC Vision:
That
every person --
adult, child, and family member -- will have access to
the social and psychological resources necessary to construct
affirming identities congruent with their deepest selves. |
Mission:
Grounded in contemporary views of sexual and
gender orientation and identity,
The Sexual and Gender Identities Clinic offers
psychological services to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, trans, those
questioning their sexual/and or gender identities, their families,
and friends. SGIC is committed to providing excellent service while
investigating their treatments to determine whether they are
effective.
Services:
SGIC provides individual, couple, family, and
group therapy. All services are informed by the latest research on
psychotherapy with sexual minority clients. Services are provided by
doctoral students of clinical psychology from the Pacific Graduate
School of Psychology and supervised by licensed psychologists who
specialize in gender and sexual identity issues. Treatment fees are
based on a sliding scale, consistent with guidelines of the
Gronowski Clinic.
